Ken Biddle, the Founder and President of the Performance Excellence Group LLC, has over 20 years experience in developing implementation strategies for all aspects of management and assisting in the successful execution of those strategies. He is recognized for his ability to relate to various levels and diverse organizations. He has implemented human resource and organizational development programs in a variety of industries, always focusing on changing cultures and establishing fact-based approaches to satisfying customers and producing improved business results.
Ken has extensive training in improvement techniques, receiving instructor certifications from the Edge Learning Institute and Six-Sigma Qualtec. He has attended several University of Tennessee Institutes for Productivity through Quality and Disney University’s Leadership and People Management Institutes. Ken has extensive experience as a senior examiner and trainer of Baldrige-based assessment programs, including the New Jersey Governor’s Award for Performance Excellence; the President’s Quality Award and the Veterans Affairs Improvement Service Award.

Fred Abbate has served for more than twenty years in numerous executive and managerial positions, including CEO/President of the New Jersey Utilities Association. He has managed major consulting projects involving human resources, strategic planning, management development, and communications for many New Jersey and out-of-state business and trade associations, and government agencies. Fred served as Director of Leadership New Jersey, the stateï¿½s best-known leadership program and has conducted seminars for College Leadership New Jersey. He has consulted on and lectured in leadership programs for the Principals’ Center for the Garden State and other educational groups.
He is also a graduate of the Cornell University Executive Development Program and the Edison Electric Policy Institute, a certified Kepner-Tregoe trainer, and a Blessing/White program leader. He taught philosophy at Rutgers University, Iona College, and in the New York City University system and is currently Visiting Professor of Philosophy in the Pennoni Honors College at Drexel University.

Joseph Tomaselli has been an educator in New Jersey for more than thirty years. He has served as a teacher, guidance counselor, project director, vice-principal, principal, adjunct professor, and school board member.
In 1999 Joe retired as Principal of Brick Township HS, and served as the Executive Administrator of Quality Education New Jersey (QENJ), the education focus group of Quality New Jersey (QNJ) until March 2003. Presently he is the Senior Vice President of the Performance Excellence Group, LLC.
Joe is an accomplished speaker who has presented workshops at local, state and national forums. He has co-authored an article, published in the April 1996, NASSP Journal, Character Development in Education: The ABC’s of Valuing.
He is a lifetime member of the New Jersey Principals and Supervisors Association. He also serves as a member of the Ocean Medical Center’s Community Advisory Board.

Tonya Breland is a leader and consultant with more than 20 years of educational and leadership experience in both the educational, non-profit and for profit sectors. She is a former building and district level administrator where she is credited with turing her school around and removing it from the list of Schools in Need of Improvement (SINI). She is also the founder of Teach Educators & Scholars Organization, LLC (TESO), an educational consulting firm. She has led the organization in improving school and student outcomes, specifically in the area of using data to drive instructional decisions and improving teacher effectiveness.
Tonya’s dynamic leadership, experiences and expertise uniquely qualify her to be able to deliver quality services to schools and other organizations. She has a distinct track record of demonstrated success increasing student achievement and school performance as a result of her focus on data-driven decision-making and effective teaching. She utilizes her knowledge of Common Core Standards, benchmarking, formative and summative assessments, data collection, analysis and dissemination to drive instructional planning and promote enhanced student outcomes.
